Ladies and gentlemen, good evening,

Great victory for Nemesis and Europa, today, in Tau-37. The two carriers and their strike forces destroyed one Storta cruiser, one Sarissa battleship and an unknown number of small fighter crafts. With today's win, the colonial fleet registered the 89th victory over the Outcasts. Roger Belick is on board Europa and is bringing the latest news. Good evening, Roger, how are the pilots and the personnel?

After the return of the fighters to the docks, the crew of Europa remained focused for another five hours while they were relocating to a secure location. When the code red was lifted, the parties started all over the ship. I'm in the pilot's quarters now and as you can see behind me, they are very happy for this victory. Lieutenant Edgar Jones is here, ready to share with us the experience of the battle. So, how was the battle?

Euh... Good evening! The battle was, let's say, of medium dificulty. The Pythos made the diference, to be honest.

Only the Pythos? What about the pilots?

Well, if we didn't have the bombers ready for action, today we wouldn't be victorious. The Maltese brought three Battleships and one destroyer and that's far more fire power than we have on the two carriers.

Three Battleships? We had information of only one.

No, sir. The frakers sent three to deal with us and still lost.

As you can see, the situation was far worse than we initialy knew but our pilots managed to achieve victory even if the odds were against them. From, carrier Europa, Roger Belick, Colonial News.

The construction of the new biodome, Templus, on Minato Harbor was canceled today for an unlimited period. After this decision, the newly elected Dux of the 4th "Sagitarius" Legion, Arisa Reynolds commented:
"The project will be finished but it's not on our priority list right now". Working at the Templus biodome should have started last week but after the presidential order 378, many of the civilian projects were stopped or canceled. People on Borneo are thinking of what's worse: "They're prepearing for an invasion. How long can our boys resist in the fight with the Outcasts? The war is nearly over and we're not winning, I'm telling you!" Other people see these events as a preparation of a final strike: "I think they're building a huge ship to deploy marines on Malta and and this war once and for all. My cousin is working with the ISE and he told me they're bringing more and more MOX. I bet that's for blowing up Hispania."

Edmund Rito, a well known scientist from Tau-44 and his family are missing. The authorities were alerted when the identification signal of their ship was lost, somewhere in Kyushu. It's believed that they were kidnapped by Golden Chrysanthemum extremists. Diplomatic talk with the Empire of Kusari has been initiated in order to organize a search and rescue party.

Mr. Rito was know mostly because of his book: "The end of a giant" in which he's formulating a rather unconventional theory about the end of the Universe. His beliefs drawn vehement critics from the colonial cults. The police doesn't exclude that one of those cults kidnapped him.

On Planet Borneo, Colony platform Eros, doctors of the Cantacuzino institute realized a medical premiere. The pacient, sustained a hit from a desintegrator while working on an underwater mining facility. All his internal organs were burned but the fast intervention of the doctors saved his life. After a 29 hours intervention, the man is still recovering but his heart, his lungs and his stomach are now artificial.

However, the intervention raised a new issue. Other doctors and people said that "the new man is no longer human". The chief of the medical institute commented on such declarations: "People saying this crap are stupid. The man received another chance. We didn't replace his brain with a chip. He's human, alive and he will praise the life more than before"

Meanwhile, the comission that was investigating the conditions where the accident occured are bringing the first conclusions. The desintegrator was not where it had to be. The accident was caused by human error but they can't say if the man that barely made it alive or one of his colegues takes the blame.

"Brigands are attacking!" This was the last transmission of the mining ship Pepper. Its remains were found in the vecinity of the mining fields. The crew is missing and 2000 units of niobium ore are also missing. This is the third attack this week from the Gallic Brigands. The defense division and the colonial wings that are guarding the fields are taken by surprise by independent miners that start mining operations without announcing the escorts.

Sport News: Mark Webber and his prototype racing ship, StarRacer broke his own speed record today, in Dublin. The colonial pilot, member of the Atreides Racing Team or ART maintains the title of fastest pilot since June 817 and he's breaking record after record.

One hour ago, an explosion destroyed platform Elima from Borneo. Unofficial sources gave an estimation that about 780 persons are missing, dead or severly injured.

Cause of the massive explosion is unknown but firefighters don't exclude the possibility of a terrorist act.

Elima was one of the newest platforms built on Borneo. The structure was a gas extraction facility and home of more than 2000 colonials.

We will keep you informed about this crisis situation.
