Travelling advice... - Seth Karlo - 01-21-2011

So, I'm off travelling in... 20 odd days. I leave the 12th of February and I plan on getting back to the UK in September ish.

I'm starting in Melbourne, Australia, and then move to Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth before flying up to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Then, I move north up to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, before popping over briefly to the Philippines to see Seanne (Saxophile).

Then I fly from Kuala Lumpur (I'll be heading back down there) to Dhaka in Bangladesh, before making my way to New Delhi, where I'll fly into Turkey (I want to not travel through the current wars). From there I make my way through Europe back to the UK.

So, do any of you live in these countries? Can you suggest any good places to visit? Stay? Eat? Any and all information is gratefully received!

-Seth

All the Aussies are probably sleeping right now, but they'd be the ones who might know where to go for the first leg of your trip.

Other than that... have fun?

Well unless you plan to travel to Czech Republic I can't serve. But Prague is cool mate. Cheep beer and stuff.

I have a friend who has asked me to visit Prague. So I likely will:)

Kidnappers? Sounds like an adventure:D

Split your total money up and stash multiple amounts in different places, thieves love it when you keep all your money in a single wallet.

I'm picking it up in amounts per month. I have an account with HSBC, they have branches in the countries where I'm going, so I'll pick up small amounts of cash at each country.

I've lived in five of those countries as well as eleven others (I'm a freelancer) Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, India, and Turkey where I'm presently living, if you need any help or info feel free to ask.
