To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - LONGBOW - 02-05-2011 *Atlantis Station Board Room 9:15, the morning Ladies and Gentlemen of the Board, I assume that you have by now heard of the massacre perpetrated by Kusari Forces in Sigma-13 system. If you have not, please acquaint yourself with the situation as soon as possible, for will be the subject of this meeting. Please allow me to begin by stating that despite my personal views on the matter, I fully understand that we are a neutral trading organization above all else. It is not our business to generate nor be involved in conflict, and I have no wish to. However, neither is it our business to conduct trade relations with such murderers as the Kusari government has shown themselves to be. The recent actions of the Kusari government can only be described as barbaric at best and absolutely indescribable at worst. To give you an idea of the mindset of these people, please listen to a recording of one of their officers, Commander Arael Kazuko, in response to the to the massacre: Quote:Subhuman animals are not deserving of compassion. Ladies and gentlemen, this mindset is not only an affront to basic human decency, it represents a very real and very dangerous hazard to ANY AND ALL pilots operating within Kusari space. To this end, I hereby call for an end to all Kusari trade operations to be effected immediately. Our friends at Ageira have already taken similar action :http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=91076&hl=: and I have full confidence that others many others will follow once the full extent of Kusari's atrocity is realized. As for how this will affect our company, I wish to remind you that the Kusari government has already placed so many embargos in regard to the Liberty and Bretonian Houses, and combined with the restrictions imposed by Rheniland we already show a small profit margin in the area. Also, Kusari's laws prevent the flow of fair trade and competition for our company, and give undue and unfair advantage to our competitors in Samura and Kishiro. In short, our company will suffer very little from such a withdraw, and will in fact be able to re-allocate our ships and resources to other more profitable areas. In closing, our company has nothing to lose by refusing to mar our image by conducting business with such a deplorable regime. In the interest of our continued profits and safety, I submit this proposal to your carefull judgment. To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - Charo - 02-05-2011 ::Incoming transmission::

I'm not giving up that beautiful ship just because some 'secret service' who aren't very secret decided to murder innocent people. I'd rather wait and see what everyone else says before I choose, cause my baby wont be easy to repair without the parts, right? ::Signal Lost::
To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - DarthBindo - 02-05-2011 ![]() I was born on Trafalgar. I spent half my loife climbin' out o the stigma of being a half-Molly Junker, an' no one can touch me honour. More then' loikly i knew some of the 'fugees aboard those ships. More then loikly some o em were relatives. But those be personal reasons, an' hae no place in business. More put, Kusari has already demonstrated their complete distrust of Interspace, their xenophobic an' rascist attitudes, an' lack of honour. An embargo already exists a twixt Kusari an' Bretonia, an' the most profitable goods are also embargoed across the Liberty Kusari line. By passin' this motion, we hae a chance tae improve our public image in the other three houses, an' perhaps get a loine in on the Junkers, who could be very useful tradin' partners. Also, we git tae stick it tae the bloody bastards fer rippin' us out o all tha' cash when t'ey nationalized the trade lanes. I also submit a motion to this Board that an aid package fer Yanagi be put together, including insurance on the station, ships, and supply convoys(but, obviously, no form of life or medical insurance). I also request from Mssr. Mahone and the Board that the "weapons free" order be given in regards to Kempetai or miscillaneous Kusari forces directly or indirectly threatin'in' miners and traders within the boundaries o Leeds an' Dooblin. To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - Pancakes - 02-06-2011 ----------------------------ID: Vinsent Goth--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------Class/Rank: Man with gigantic ego-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good day dear friends, First of all I think we shouldn't sanction any trade at all with the kusari goverment, but to minimal needs, nothing more then the needed to supply our stations, and and to supply those groups who are working inside kusari and are not kusarian agressors, I am talking about Codename Gold, and about the our buissness partners at Okinawa. as for ageira, if they sanction tradelanes trade with kusari, we should do the same in order to maintain our neutrality. If kusari officials ask for clearification on this matter it will be simple: tradelanes are ageira product if they wish it won't be sold in kusari we can't do anythign about it. Moreover I think that we as neutral with both sides of the coin in the junker-kusari recent conflict, on the surface anyway, and try to be a moderator, as far as I am concerened the only needed trade inside kusari is with our own stations, with all the embargos there is very minor profit for us from trading anyway. Goth out. To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - DarthBindo - 02-06-2011 ![]() After this announcement, the Kusari will most liokely be nae at all forgiving, and ai would not put it past them tae call down the Hogosha on us or invent some troomped-up law. Perhaps evacuating our foreign workers frem Raponggi an' havin' the local hands simply purchase food frem Deshima Station in Shikoku would do the trick. It wouldn't take much tae feed a reduced station, and ai'm sure the Guild would appreciate the added revenue. On the issue of tradelane parts ai am in total agreement. As fer bein' nuetral, weel, i recuse mahself from any decision on tha', fer ai cannae be objective, hae'in been born a Junker mahself. To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - Pancakes - 02-06-2011 ----------------------------ID: Vinsent Goth--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------Class/Rank: Man with gigantic ego-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good day again, as our relations with the kusari goverment are not too well at any matter now, we shouldn't stop our trading not officialy anyway, our only official statement should be this: "We have decided due the recent issues inside the sigma 13 system we are sending humanitarian convoys to the junkers nothing ilegal. the convoys will be sent through rheinland. as for the tradelane parts and jump gate parts, if ageira don't wish to ship them to kusari, our hands are tied." Good day and may god be with you, Goth out. To the Interspace Commerce Executive Board - LONGBOW - 02-06-2011 *Atlantis Station Board Room 9:15, the morning Ladies and Gentlemen of the Board, I appreciate your response on this matter. As it stands, it seems that the board is currently opposed to reduction of trade within Kusari. Therefore, we will continue business as ussualy, albeit cautiously. As for our Ageira relationships, I suggest we make certain what their intentions are regarding the contracts with gate/lane parts in Kusari. If they are still willing to supply, I believe this would make a good opportunity for us to improve our relations with both sides, and an attack on an Interspace vessel carrying lane parts would leave no grey areas concerning the potetntial attackers intentions or motives. In summary, we will continue to conduct business with Kusari, and I suggest we contact our friends at Ageira concerning their lane shipping policy. Any objections should now be voiced, else forever withheld.
