Using Bloom - Echo 7-7 - 02-09-2011 Flying through Tau-37 with Bloom enabled: don't do it. An already bright system, it will burn your retinas out with its over-whiteness. I'm not sure whether it's the intended effect, but bloom just makes everything glow... Interesting for a short while, but then just annoying. Using Bloom - MarvinCZ - 02-10-2011 ' Wrote:Flying through Tau-37 with Bloom enabled: don't do it.There is an option, instead of blooming light, you can bloom shadow (or what would you call it)... Very useful for these systems. They become slightly darker, not lighter. Unfortunately, I can't remember the key combination. It's one of the F(9-12) keys, possibly with Shift or Ctrl or something. I'm not on a computer with the bloom mod now. Using Bloom - Bobthemanofsteel - 02-10-2011 It actually makes things look better regardless, IMO. The alternate, I mean. |
