No Microsoft decided to give us a maximum of 128 player servers. Maybe its possible to increase it, but I doubt it.

Yes the Prize for 128 for 128 was won by frozen.
No the 128 player slots are hard coded and can not be increased.

Do we have anyone here who would be able to edit the game code and not just mod?
(not saying that modding isn't a great thing, but modding and editing can be two different things)
