Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - lousal - 02-14-2011 -------------------------------------------- Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Doc Holliday - 02-15-2011 Dressed in his full garb of diplomatic robes, Ambassador Holliday boarded his shuttle on Canaria that had flown out from Shasta to meet him. "Dahlin'" he said to his wife as they stood face to face, his hands at her sides, "I don't imagine this will be but a couple of days." "Do be careful, John Henry," she said softly, "I never feel safe without you home." After a short embrace and a kiss, he boarded his ship with his security detail and made his way to his private chambers. The ship was secured and he gave the order to the ship's commander, "Alicia, let's get going!" "Yes, Sir," she responded. With that they headed off. Doc was alone in his chambers during the flight. In some ways, he hated it as quite often, he was alone with nothing but his thoughts but then again, he used the time to catch up on his work load. To keep himself at ease, he poured himself a glass of Scotch. Memories of times past with his old friends, the Omicroners, was something he wanted to fix. He knew of their mistrust of him after the break-up of the Alliance. It was a side project of his that he wanted to address. The trip was uneventful, passing through Omega 47 and Omega 41 before getting to Freeport XV. Upon entering Omicron 74, the Freeport was in site. "Freeport XV control, this is Commander Alicia Cook of [TAZ]Ambassador's.Ark requesting docking clearance," requested the commander. Once clearance was received, she docked where instructed. It would be a good twenty minutes before John Holliday himself was ready to leave the ship, to meet the ORI and re-kindle a friendship with people he still respected, the Omicroners. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Valek - 02-15-2011 Wearing his best mantle, Valek steps out onto the haven platform of planet Quillian, ready to leave Gallia. He enters his Gunboat, the Caduceus, requested permission for takeoff and left the planet. He took three copies of the Book Of Origin and placed them in a bag, while travelling full-speed through Orkney. Everything was quiet, just some small stones hitting the ORI shields and the bright sun in the TAUs. On his way, he met a vessel of the OSI, but he was too tired to do anything more than to greet him. Passing through Alpha, he read the Book Of Origin again, and thought with a slight whiff of sympathy of the already lost souls out there in space... Passing Eta, his autopilot failed and he ran directly into the minefield guarding the Theta jumphole. Thanks to the ORI shields, he prevented the destruction of his vessel, but the gunboat took extreme damage, weapon fell off, he lost his thruster and the CM, and the hull also took serious damage. But he managed to reach 74 and dock at Freeport XV. The local crew welcomed him with their chins on the floor. Well that will take some days to repair, but he has time. He took his mantle, his bag and his wand, and stepped into the Bar to have a drink, and then he went to the stations information point, got welcomed heartly, but he still noticed some mistrust. He was guided to the theta conference room, where Mr. Holliday was already waiting. "It's an honor to me, Mr. Holliday", offering his hand. Obviously, the leader of the TAZ was examining the Commander, and gazed at the scars in Valeks face, but as a polite man, he took the hand and shaked it, and the two men sat down for a little small talk until the OSI and the Omicroners will arrive. This is gonna be the day. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Luis - 02-15-2011 Receiving the message that was broad casted to the Zoner's Cooperations, Feorn took a last drink on the Bar of Freeport 5. Being interrupted by two foolish corsairs in the lounge as he is walking out - he ignored their rubbish conversation and headed to the Hangar Bay. "Jo, is my ship ready for the engines to rumble?" he replied laying his arm on Jo's shoulder. "Indeed it is, Captain Feorn. Heading to the Hyperion?" Jo replied. Feorn sighed a bit, "Nah... the Zoners has made a meeting with the 'ORI' members - I am coming to hear the ORI and see them personally - since they said they are not Humans." Jo's face had looked in confusion - "Uhuh... well... thats weird to hear." scratches his head. Feorn looked at him before he stepped inside the 'Ravens Talon' cockpit - "Weirder than Corsairs and Nomads if you ask me, Jo." (he laughs) "Heh. Let me remove these fuel lines off and you are set to go!" Jo replied while removing the hose lines off. That being said, Feorn activated the rumble engines of the Raven's Talon and lifted slowly off the landing pad. He hailed Jo and increase throttle as the hangar doors were opening. "Hopefully I don't get caught up with Sails..." Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - n00bl3t - 02-15-2011 Sebastien Coen had woken up earlier than usual. He had been told that today was a day to make peace with idiots, and that had already slightly perturbed him. He shook his head. "Not the time for it, I have a job to do." He decided to wake up completely. A jog around the research station of Corinth, a shower and some breakfast. He held off on the Synth Paste and opted for some other bio-engineered prototype concoction on the station. Needless to say, he considered that the Synth may have been a better choice in retrospect. "Needs more flavour, ergh." Coen went back to his room and changed into his robes. Flowing, white and armoured. The represented all the Omicroners stood for in this time. Diplomacy and comfort, but with a backup plan should things go wrong. He had been advised on what he had to do by the quorum, and he would do it. He activated his left arm's communication and order control panel. Operation Targe had just begun. It's purpose was to protect the meeting, and to show anyone that entered Omicron 74 that there would be no chance for any hostilities. It involved three battlegroups. Primary protection, roaming protection and a backup battlegroup, all in addition to the shield of patrols already taking place in Omicron 74. Coen sighed and walked out the door to join the roaming battlegroup, headed by his Juggernaut. It would be a long session. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Valek - 02-15-2011 He looks at his watch: "Well i didn't believe we would have to wait that long for the others, Mr. Holliday." He continues reading the Book Of Origin. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Luis - 02-16-2011 The Commanding Bridge of Freeport XV saw Mr. Norichka coming out of the Theta jump hole; safely and sound. "Welcome back, Mr. Norichka. Heard you all Zoners have a meeting with the ORI today." the traffic control man said. Feorn replied while he yawned, "Indeed... a flight from Freeport 5 to XV gets me exhausted somehow. Probably the radiation of the Omega 41." Feorn stretched and sends an automatic request to dock. Nevertheless, the Traffic Control Man rapidly responded, "Hold up - docking is full." "Understood..." Feorn sighed as he checked the time on the computer. However, after the few seconds that past, Feorn request was granted. He docks the Raven's Talon as two maintenance men came rushing to mount up hose lines. The Canopy popped open as Feorn removes his helmet/communicator off his head. "Thank you, men." he says as he leaves to the Meeting Room. As he walks by the Bar hall, a young lady interrupted him, "Sorry, Mr. Norichka, but may I have a word with you? .. Please?" Feorn looked around as he was confused who was the young lovely lady was; "Erhm... Sure. But, it has to be quick." It appears to be one of Hyperion's (Juggernaught) residents. However, the conversation wasn't that interested. He finished the conversation by: "Oright, but may we have this talk later? Wait, you know what.. tell my colleague that I will like you to be on the Hyperion Conference room, with comfort and whatever you wish to eat. Don't worry - he'll call me to confirm it." The young lady nods, "Yes, Captain!" Feorn proceeds to the Meeting with a bit of hurry thinking he is late. Two giant doors were closed before him as he fixes himself and brush off his shoulder a bit. Feorn opens the doors with a Hand Scan confirmation. As he enters, he meets Doc Holliday and one of the ORI members. "Doc Holliday - how nice to see you in here." he says while giving a hand shake. He looks at the ORI member, but he was reading a weird looking book that he held with his two hands. Feorn nods as he proceed to take a seat. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Valek - 02-16-2011 But the hatred of those who strayed from the true path festered and bloomed in the dark corners of the Avernakis to which they have been cast! And consumed by this hatred, they poisoned all they touched, bringing death, darkness and despair. And the souls of their victims knew no peace, until the Ori came and whispered to them: ‘Sleep, for the end draws near!’ And on that day all will rejoice, when the Ori come and lay them low. Valek just finished the last passage of the page, as the two big doors opened. A man stepped in, but he has never seen him before. "Who is he? His aura seems strong.", Valek thought. The man shaked hands with Mr. Holliday, then noticed Valek, nodded at him and sat down. "Shall I greet him or is he afraid." Valek decided to decide that later. He goes on reading. Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Doc Holliday - 02-16-2011 Doc was perplexed by the ORI guests as was his bodyguard, a fully armed alien warrior who's eyes kept a close watch on Valek. He said nothing. "That will be all for now, Mr. Gorok," said Doc to him. With a nod, the guard left the room, his eye ever watchful of the ORI until he disappeared. "Ambassador," said Doc as he shook Valek's hand, "it's a pleasure to meet you in person." He then took the time to greet Mr. Feorn, Sebastian Coen and his old friend, James Ferguson. He then turned back to Ambassador Valek, "Do forgive my bodyguard. He, like all of his race, are suspicious of just about everyone but they are very loyal." Doc then stood still a moment, listening to Ambassador Valek reading. As he listened, he poured himself a glass of Coalition Vodka and swirled it in his glass. Once Valek finished reading, he raised his glass and smiled, "Hail, Eris!" Freeport XV: ORI meeting the TAZ, the OSI, and the Omicroners - Stygian - 02-16-2011 Gabriel tapped the comm link to his assistant. "Get Felicia on comms and tell her to get the Orinoco up here to Fourteen. We're gonna be taking it to the meeting." He thought it would be best to have something a little more durable than the Solar Breeze in case things took a turn for the worst. After all, he still didn't trust the ORI. . . . . . . . . . . After a short hyperspace jump from Theta they exited into Omicron 74. "Heh. Look at that. Looks like they are giving Fifteen quite the overhaul. Anyways, how do you think they will react having me on the station? I'd say quite a few of them are still a little miffed over the ZA breakup." "I wouldn't expect more than a few dirty looks, Gabe." Gabriel paused in thought for a moment. "Keep your eyes open anyways." Felicia just rolled her eyes and contacted Fifteen for docking clearance. |
