They're essentially the equivalent to Bretonia's merchant marine in that they are responsible for shipping goods that directly contribute to Bretonia's war effort - weapons, vehicles, etc. Think of them as halfway between Bowex and the BAF - which accordingly means that any messing with them will have severe in RP consequences.

Shippers don't usually buy the stuff they are shipping. Traders usually do.
Though I don't think there is a big difference myself.

A cargo ship with an empty hold is a worthless journey. Therefore, the difference between a trading or shipping company here unless they're deep into RP, should be none.

Well, I'd say that it's a shipping company then. It fulfils governmental contracts on military goods and evacuation of refugees from Leeds.

Well. Tradeing is buying something to sell yourself, usually to shops. Whereas shipping is where you work for a company that someone has puchased something from and delivering it to them.
Shipping is usually long distance, therefore will apply here where as transporting wouldn't since even going between 2 stations is a distance that land based transport couldn't do.

Think of them as an arm of the military. Personally I have reservations concerning Convoy since in-RP Bowex is Bretonia's military supplier, but w/e.
