Say, why aren't there any stationary Cruisers that merely act as huge weapon platforms since they're too small for bases.
An idea in Bretonia/Dublin is to replace Essex with a heavily armed Cruiser instead (if they have one, can't remember.)
Still, why no cruiser platforms of death?

Nope that's a Spyglass, thus a BS, and there is a ranseur next to the vesp to Magellan hole which is also a BS
but yes in Cassinni, I know for sure that one.

Though that isn't too bad of an idea... Though maybe two destroyers instead of one.
It would certainly (edit: maybe, though it's easy enough to get by the Kuso ones) cut down on pirates using trade lanes and jump gates?
