Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - Cannon - 03-07-2011 As I noted a day or two ago, I'm testing some new software. Here's the latest changes:
Quote:The server is running a experimental version of software at the moment. Although it has been tested there is a good chance that issues will sliip through and be found when many people are using it - which is what happened. If you want to send chat to the whole system, you need to type /s <your message>Explain. From what I see, this is saying that the more people mine (and reduce a field's resources) the more ore they get...? EDIT: Also, if I were to pirate a miner for ore, can he still put ore in my hold/drop it? And will he drop some when he explodes? >.> Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - [Cerberus] Illusive Man - 03-07-2011 I'm wondering if you can give even smaller mining ships the possibility to mine. I don't like this 'cargo will enter directly in your hold'. Light miners have a light capacity, and they can't drop it each 10 seconds. I phrased that badly too. The drops previously were lower than I intended as the field depleted. They drop rate is higher now but still less than a field that is fully 'recharged'. Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - Jack_Henderson - 03-07-2011 Thank you, Cannon, for the new update! =) You seem to be 24/7 working on this. Wow! I'm curious for the changes. Keep up the brillant work!!! Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - mwerte - 03-07-2011 w00t w00t! Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - [Cerberus] Illusive Man - 03-07-2011 Also, can you add a field to Kusari aswell? Maybe you can give them activity by that. Samura mined field? How do you message over system chat now? /s? And how will this work with setmsgs? Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - Panzer - 03-07-2011 ' Wrote:Hey Gunny, how about have the fields regenerate ABOVE their normal capacity if not visited for too long? Like... If neglected long enough, the drop rate on say... the Cambridge beryllium field would become so ridiculously high that it wouldn't be funny. For a lilbit until it attracted interest that is... Just copypasta cause... seemed like a good idea at the time... Admin Notice: Server testing #2 - lw'nafh - 03-07-2011 Thanks for clarifying.
