this is an idea for the huntress cruiser - a rather small and compact and vertical cruiser. - the entire capship line could be build around that concept.
- the primary idea is to make something alien looking without making it look totally out of place
- something manacing ( well - at least i find imagining it coming out of a nebula quite manacing )

probably not - but it bugs me that there is a faction that would resort to a rather uninspired asortment of ships. ( one star wars ship, one star trek ship and i don t know if the slipstream is actually genuine )

I really do apologize for the lack of proper comments/criticism, but apart from saying "I really do not like it", I do not really have anything more worthwhile to add. its just the general shape and design, makes me feel slightly.. weirded by it. kind of looks like a Venus fly trap got mauled by a grizzly. vaguely. >_>

I like the idea to bring a new fresh design to the game, i really can imagine to see this ship somewhere as a cruiser, but it looks to me very peacefull, more likely as an alien cruiser but not of a dangerous species. If Disco will add more alien races then this concept will be nice for some kind of nebula species yes. Phantoms should have something more agressive looking.
btw. Beside this Jinx i really like your ideas and your work;)

Could you try to give it more edges and sharp things? I think that would help to give it a less butterfly-like look. ;)
