Good freighter/transport for piracy - VoluptaBox - 04-04-2011
Want to do some cargo piracy, and not quite sure what to use. In doubt between the Bactrian/Courier/Pirate Transport/L'Ane.
Now, I know the Bactrian and Pirate Transport are excellent, but I'd rather go for the other two, unless they're utter rubbish,

What ID will you mount? And where will you be operating?

Yo, Gruz:). Anyway, I'd be using pirate id, and operate in the Taus. Howeverm the char is somehow OC affiliated, thus no chance I'll get a Raba. Geisha is meh...

One last question. Say I tak L'ane, and use it to smuggle, rather than pirate...is it restricted to Gallia/Taus only, or I can go elsewhere?

Look at the tech chart. I has been updated.
The restriction on generic IDs and Gallic weaponry and ships has been removed. You are free to move outside of Gallia with them. (smoke)

I had L'ane, It's pretty good for smuggling but it's VERY slow, If you can get few more people try Bactrian, (smoke)

The Percheron and Big Dragon are actually pretty good piracy ships if armored/used right.
