In the last 20 minutes, I've finally captured one of the major annoying causes of crashes. The problem is related to a player connecting and being booted by the anticheat. Each time this player connects, he crashes the server.
This particular situation happened 4 times about 20 minutes ago.
I think the particular bug is fixed. We will have to wait and see. In any case I have much better logging now and so we should be able to fix these things much more quickly in the future.
EDIT: I failed. I thought a change I made would fix it. It didn't.

Okay, I've banned the guy with the corrupted discovery install who's crashing the server repeatedly. I doubt this is intentional although maybe it is. Hard to say.
If you:
- tried to create a character repeatedly in the last 10 minutes and everytime the server seemed to fail
- and your account is now banned
