Ok i stopped playing Disco,and went to SWWT Shattered worlds-War torn.
Now they have got gas mining weapons that fit on miners. Works pretty cool.
Also they have a different style to mine rocks for ore to.
I would love for admins/devs to take a look at it,and see if they can mod something similar for disco.

Well miners have a set mining laser or 2. Smaller miners small lasers,and larger miners large lasers. Small lasers mine regular rocks which are as big as house in this mod.Heavy lasers mine dense rocks. reg rocks drop about 500 ore,and dense up to 1500. The rocks have about 1mil sheild. so only a mining laser does anything. reg guns wil not drop rock shields.These lasers also do nothing to ship sheilds. Miners cargo for CSV say is 50 cargo,or 500 ore.
Now gas mining. Also use a gas mining laser that causes gas to explode from within,and releases large chucks of frozen gas that can be tractored in.
Now people will say 500 ore per rock! thats great! But in this mod the ore sells for an equal price as many other comodity's. So for example scrap high price is 808creds. But you can fill 500 ore in 3-4 minutes.
faster if using a bigger miner. So yeah that is right. Bigger miners plus side is bigger,and more lasers equal faster mining.
I been told the biggest miner in game(cost 950mil to buy) filling 2 super trains(7500 cargo 900mil to buy) can earn 3-400 mil an hour. Gold from Dublin as you might have guessed.
Also they have a bank system that i would like to see in Disco.
You can deposit money with a command 100k minimum,and each deposit cost's you 5%,but no limit to have much it can store. Just like disco 999mil is max for a char. uses command /bank (transaction=deposit/withdraw/balance) (amount) and poof money is stored/withdrawn. I think this would be a big plus in disco. Especially for factions with billions of creds.

Interesting.
But I think the people of this community are used to shooting little rocks that float around and ram your ship.
Maybe the admins can add little gas bits that float around and ram you?

I hate mining, when the little rocks hit you... Thats been fixed with the mining update though.
Also, you said that some rocks have a shield of one million? And only miners can mine that? Couldnt mining lasers be abused as an ultimate Debilitator/Pulse Cannon? Nobody would want that...
