Ive found some interesting ships from a game called Nexus: The jupiter incident.
There are some cruisers a BS, a light BS, a support ship and a destroyer which are cool.

Ive made a video of some of the ships. It is 50Mb is size (the original one i recorded with fraps was 3GB in size. I used DivX to compress it. Resolution is 640x480 at 30FPS).

Ships look interesting..

i've thought about buying Nexus, but I'm not really sure... I like games like Freelancer, and would much prefer a game we can *ALL* play and host our own server. :)

If you buy Nexus keep the receipt. About 1/3 of the copies of it bought have a glitch that will delete your CD Key upon installation and you can never play it. I bought it and spent 3 hours trying to get the CD Key to stay but it disappeared everytime I installed and reinstalled the game.

Nexus is quite good. Is like the battles on star trek, but instead of watching them, you can take part on them.
The multiplayer part is unknown to me. I only played the SP campaign.
The game is quite graphics intensive. it ran at 60-75FPS on my system - Graphics at full.
Yes. I prefer FL too. No PvP in fighters is possible. Only fleet battles. And it has not that many possibilities like FL.

From the ships shown in the video i like the sparta and brutus. Destroyers. Nice design. Quite maneuverable and versatile. I dont know if there is a model for FL of those ships. But i guess that the models from Nexus can be converted to FL, but i dont know how to do that...

Ahh. ... anti-piracy protection... pirate copies dont give problems because pirates get rid of the protection... It only encourage potential buyers to get a pirate copy to avoid the problems the security brings to the legal buyer...
I have the... um... "quick activation utility" (yes, thats it :P) for nexus. It allows you to play it wihout a CD (and key). And given the fact you bought it, aplying it to the game would not be illegal...
