With the post Bretonia-Kusari, what was their policy for the handling of prisoners of war? Did they keep them in the civilian jail system? Another more specialized prison? Or were they places on minor settlements planetside?

I guess the same goes for the Liberty-Rheinland war.

How do the Houses treat POW's? I assume the Geneva convention is still in effect? Or is there a new treaty?

Well, we have those PoWs, from both wars. So far they perform the labour that results in weapons grade plutonium which is in heavy demand at the moment. Still as the wars change they may get replaced with PoWs from Gallia. Think of Planet Miura as a convenient prisoner camp for the lawfuls of Sirius. ;)

I can tell you about the Colonial Republic vs Bretonia war. The PoWs were kept in military prisons on the time of the conflict. They were released when the peace was signed.

Corsairs only take prisoners for interrogation.
I would imagine mollies would try and trade Baffers for mollies held on newgate.

The Corsairs eat their POWs they capture. Everyone knows this.

If its Navy, the Order either sends them home, recruits them, or lock them up.

BHG...we don't send them home. We lock them up.

This is incorrect.
We would not afford them such honor.
The story behind the cannibalism associated with the Corsairs is thus:
In the past the Corsairs were unable to grow enough food on the mountainous and arid terrain of Planet Crete, and the low native wildlife populations and sparse forests only further contributed to the lack of resources and eventual famine of the original Corsair population. According to legend, in the early days of their civilisation a select few members of the populace volunteered to be cannibalised to ensure the future of their people. Though many Corsairs believe this to be a myth, these individuals are still revered among believers and their glorious sacrifice celebrated. This story however, whether a fact or a myth, is not one that the Corsairs share with outsiders.

Liberty:

RM go to Huntsville/Sugarland

Order/BDM go to Mitchell/Fairbanks.

And some just get shot and dumped in space. Damn LSF.

[font=Comic Sans Ms]POWs take the form of the "Prisoners" commodity. Other than that, they do not exist on account of meta and powergaming conflicts.

I always assumed the prisoners commodity as the 'civilian' side of things, since PoW's carry diplomatic weight in a way, at least for Houses and certain opportunistic elements.
