Renders? - Domjan - 05-10-2011 So, how do you guys make ship renders? Is there any piece of software? You run it then run a ship in the data files? I just don't get it how do you make ship renders by yourself. Oh also another thing is how to make renders that are 2D? For example I want to make a render out of this guy: http://www.nonkonformist.net/wp-content/up...waldHellmut.jpg But seems like using laso tool in photoshop isn't the brightest idea. I'm sure there is a quicker way? Help plox? Renders? - Luis - 05-10-2011 Milkshape and 3ds Max or Lightwave is your friend. Renders? - MarvinCZ - 05-10-2011 You'll not be making a "render" out of that photo. Render means generating a picture of a 3D model. You really need a lasso for the photo. Yeah, it's work. Tough luck. For actual renders, I use Milkshape & POV-Ray. Renders? - Domjan - 05-10-2011 Oh... D: , well I am trying out Lightwave , but don't understand how do I import FL ships into it? If anyone cares to explain? Renders? - Domjan - 05-11-2011 Bump. Can someone please explain me how do I import renders into any of these? And how do I actually make them? I'd be grateful. Renders? - MarvinCZ - 05-11-2011 I'm not sure what format does LightWave use. You'll need to import the ship into Milkshape and then export into a format LightWave can use. Renders? - Waratah - 05-11-2011 This IS called a render aswell.
