Lag - Yerland - 05-12-2011 I recently got a new computer, its better than my old one but my ping has gotten worse. On my old computer I normally got away with about 200 ping and 0 loss and lag. But on my new computer I get a ping of 250+ with lag and loss at 5-10%. Now this is making fighting impractical, and quite frankly I don't understand why my ping has gotten worse. I was wondering if it's a problem with the server or is it definitely on my end. and if it is definitely on my end does anyone have any suggestions and how to improve my ping. Edit: right forgot to say anything helpful at all. I'm using the same cable for internet so no to the wireless. -checking other things Lag - Lich - 05-12-2011 More info would be nice, like have you switched network cards have you checked to make sure the one you're now on is better? Have you been silly and desided to go wireless? Any other actual changes.
