I think Discovery needs a total redo. New ships new systems new EVERYTHING. A new econemy. I like ioncross Total war so much because it has a changing econemy. Everythime there is a matenece it changes. ALL different prices and all it pretty bad ass.

Well the next version of discovery is due out with new systems and ships, not to mention I got a nice mess going on in terms of the roleplay here. I like the way things have been done by discovery so far.

I don't think discovery needs a new econemy and stuff.
Besides which Igiss and the other modders would have to spend months getting just the beta version ready, let alone bug hunting and other stuff.
I think Igiss and the others have done a great job with this mod.
Personally I think:-
new systems = fine
a few new ships = fine
turn discovery into yet another 'total conversion' mod = NO WAY!
If people are leaving discovery because "it's too boring/quiet" then why are we concerned about that?
It's bad enough when Dab goes off on a bender and starts wars because he's bored.
I don't want another 6 or 7 people trying it every other day as well.

I don't really think DiscoveryMOD needs a re-work or makeover.
Discovery is supposed to EXPAND the original 1.0 setup... which i believe it has done beautifully so far.
What do we really need? a better balanced set of ships, maybe major updates to the ships. but that'd be for another update...

I like Discovery. It`s not old, neither new. It`s fun. The interference between the old freelancer and new elements is good. Well, the mod needs more things, but i`m not worrying about that. Versions of Discovery go on... :)

Personally I think discovery rocks, the mod itself is great, and with the new systems and ships about to be released i can't wait to get out there and get lost :cool: afterall, I am the undisputed king of noobyness!! Anywho, discovery deffinatley isn't getting old. End Of Story

Honestly, total Conversions are confusing and time consuming, Discovery has just enough new stuff to make it fun, and keep the Original game there i love Discovery :D :D

Even though my new systems may not be out till next update when they are released you will get lost... Also a few of the systems are quite dangerous so traders and peaceful people beware Shak'rish and Risha. If Blood Dragons don't like you defenately don't go in Sak'rish unless you have lots of nano/shield bots or a BS shield on your trains...

What's the NPC count going to be in that system? In terms of.... A lot, some, tons, TONS!, so many you can't fly for 5 seconds without seeing 15 more ships.
