IT WAS CORK! - Millan - 06-02-2011 It was a dark night on Cork, the sound of the pubs from the nearby street was loud, but vague. Mollies and their conquered home - all that’s there is just the basic necessities. McMillan's wife, a young lass in her twenties, was standing near the door of their house. It was built from simple materials, like any house on this so called street, yet it felt special, unique some would say. I, however, called it "home". The place I could rest after a long day setting ambushes for the corsairs, though most of the time me and my gang just caught the occasional lost trader, Those tend to leave empty *he laughed softly* As I walked into me house, and kissed me lass a good welcome home again, she told me to sit down. So being a good husband I sat myself down, her with a soft smile hiding on 'r face, looking straight into me eyes, I'm pregnant! she said It was a shock, though surprisingly I was happy as well. My thoughts, on the other hand, were suddenly everywhere. What to name it? How can we raise it here in eire's name? She softly tapped me on the shoulder and whispered, it will be okay, and while she said this she kissed me on the forehead and went to the kitchen to prepare some food for the three of us... IT WAS CORK! - Millan - 06-03-2011 Blessed with a wonderful morning, greeted by the smile of the star in ‘derry, Eoin launched in his wolf, with his pack, towards their daily ravage in Dublin. Everything alright over there? I shouted on the secure comms. It was a morning just like any other day. I asked if they where okay, and they just replied, m'kay 'ere, 'ere aswell lad, noth'ng to complain, did you saw the lass in the pub last night? eurh I mean 'k here! It "was", like I said, a morning like any other day, but it was not to stay as such. Normally the orders from the Union of Gold was, "go out, get goods and get yer arse back". Now it was "Find a bunch of Corsair pilots, then kill ‘em except for one. Let him run, then tell the tale of some giant armada of Corsairs, or else...." I just couldn't understand why we was told to do so, but with them being the largest clan, ye'll listen. It didn't take long to find the Corsairs. They patrolled the somewhat stable anomaly in the far west of ‘derry. Just far enough away to never be able to get close to Cork, our home. That was normal like any day. Those hispanic cretans aren't worth living we was told. We snuck above them, no comms, then nosedived on them and started blasting... IT WAS CORK! - Millan - 06-04-2011 The sheer force that came upon the corsairs suprised them, we nearly killed every ship in the first wave. "La muerte desde arriba!" I heard them shout, which roughly translates as death from above. We were those that killed 2 out of 4 in the first wave, crippled the third one, and made the fourth run. We toyed with the third for a time before moving in for a quick finish. Ruthless and without mercy - never doubt, never fear to shoot first. "They don't deserve mercy". The words of the Union of Gold spooked trough my mind. Sometimes they think they rule the roost, but without packs like mine they wouldn't keep their precious 'derry safe. I grinned at the thought of it. But then... A big bright flash filled our vision, something happened on cork. "This is not good. Onward to Cork!" I yelled to my pack. When we arrived at cork it was too late... IT WAS CORK! - Millan - 06-05-2011 Cork was on fire, yet none of the Union of Gold were hurt, not even so much as a scratch. Somehow, something here is wrong, I thought. This isn't normal, nearly 2/3rd of the population of Cork has been wiped away, blotted out of existence. Then it got through to me, it took a while before I realized it.... MARINDA.... I shouted across the comms, making my pack tow me and my ship towards Foyle... IT WAS CORK! - Millan - 06-11-2011 The tale that would shock thousands, but never must be told... At Foyle my mind wasn't were it was supposed to be, days I've been trying to figure out what "really" happened on cork, I did had my luck tough, the supposed fleet of corsairs that was told by the Union of Gold, never existed in the first place. Miranda I tought, she died for nothing, our first unborn child died for nothing, some day I will get my revenge on them... |
