There still is capship fighting.... But that can wait a while till I get capships that you can possibly beat alone. Maybe I'll just get you some help. >.>

EDIT:
Oh and feel free to come ask for a lesson in something. That includes you Vo, and your clan. If someone REALLY wants and I don't know them personally, you can ask too, but there will be no guarantees. I may, of course, be busy at the time.

I appreciate you trying to stick to the Phantoms, but i'm afraid there is one small problem...

You either ARE a Phantom, or your NOT. There isn't much room for anything else. We will, however, consider you an ally of the Phantom Empire so you arn't totaly alone out there.

Well I found the easiest way to learn fighter combat is to fight against ALOT of hostile VHFs and just act like their guns are like player guns so that you get good at dodging.

Best way to learn how to do dogfighting..

is to fly against other PCs.

the NPCs are inheritly stupid... They're good at dodging, but it's not a real measure of capabilities.

8492nd *DOES* offer some training.. If you want to learn how to truely dogfight, just get ahold of Myself, Sam, Korrd or any member of 8492nd and we'll train ya..

For a price of course :)

Don't ask me to help train :\. I may be good at dogfighting but I am really bad at trying to teach it.

Its not hard.... Mostly teaching people is showing proper fighting ways and letting them practice against a bunch of different ships.

A way of teaching is to bring the noob with you to a fight. And make him spectate instead of fight. If he is smart enough, he will learn from seeing the battle.
