Mining as a Corsair - Wraga - 06-18-2011
There is something what I cant understand. I have made a corsair Correo with normal corsair ID/IFF, weapons, etc. and tried to mine with it (I know so odd) at Omicron Delta, for irridium. It made me a nice drop (6-8 per rock or more).
After that I made a Hegemon with the same setup and it has just 2-3 drop...
Any idea why this happen?

I don't know, but there are a number of possible factors:
- hegemons mine 25% less ore
- the field may have depleted slightly
- try switching to an indie miner ID with corsair IFF when using a hegemon.

I've tried with Zoner, Ind Miner, and Corsair ID and both are the same...I mean more less than in a Correo.

Nevermind, I didn't see you were talking about iridium.
Snubcrafts have a 25% bonus and I guess freighters go into that category

Thanks for the information, but I fear this could be a little bit more complicated. I've tried again, and in a Correo the Iridium drop was 10 average per rock. In a Hegemon the drop rate was 1-2. Its more than 25% difference, but the loadout, ID/IFF was the same.
I've mounted a mining turret too, but the rate was the same...
