Kaleidoscope - Hexx - 06-22-2011

Buncha' flippin' hippies, with all that raving about '€œOur Mother Earth'€ and karma and all that ****. Reminded her of his face, the way he cringed as she threw up on his shoes. You hate it, but you have to be there. Gotta be supportive, even when you'€™re like '€œWhat the ****, why am I here'€. It was actually pretty funny.

She laughed and kicked back, doing circles in her mind.

Maybe they weren'€™t so bad, flowers were pretty, and the view was sexy. Or maybe they just actually enjoyed bathing publicly once a week. Who knew, who cared. The view was sexy.

Boooom POW cRaCk~

That couldn'€™t be good. Explosions were never ever good. Meant people were dying, blood everywhere, space, no oxygen. Lot'€™sa bad stuff. ****. Man. ****. That view was sexy.

'€œMyr!'€ Someone yelled.

Now the view was spinning. That was crazy, but kinda annoying. Who was yelling? More hippies? No, that was'€¦ the one guy. Dick? No, ha ha. Div.. Dave. Yeah, Dave. Dave was cool. Why was he yelling?

'€œYou'€™ve gotta be kidding me!'€

SMACK~

'€œThe ****!?'€ She shrieked.

The world was in focus again. God damn it. Dave was blocking the view and everything hurt. Especially the cheek, ouch.

'€œWake up! Hostiles!'€ Dave glowered and hit the weapons station. "Knew this was a bad idea."

'€œQuit your yappin'€¦'€

The controls were nice, icy, smooth. Played on her fingers like dainty little toys. Ha ha. She could twist and pull and push them, and that'€™s when things got fun. So she did, and Dave tried to keep up. Dave could never keep up, but he tried. Dave was cool after all. The explosions were pretty this time. Maybe they weren'€™t all bad; she always forgot that.

Dave sighed and brought a hand to his forehead wearily, getting up from his station. His look was dim and there were bags under his bloodshot eyes, which focused on her and softened after a moment.

'€œWhat'€™s wrong with you Myr?'€

'€œWhat'€™s wrong with you Dave?'€

He shook his head, pulling the hood of his jacket up before leaving her alone. Silly Dave.

Myr turned back to the glistening jewel behind the glass. Damn that view was sexy~
