THE ILLUSTRATED TRAVELS OF LOWELL WHUTT

Well, scrapbooking never really appealed to me, but now that I bought this X-Shuttle to explore with, sure, I might as well share my thoughts. My name is Lowell Whutt. I used to work on Nansei Research Complex, but today marks the first day of my myriad travels among the stars. I plan to help people and explore new places! With any luck I'll have all sorts of exciting adventures.

Today I helped a new spacefarer named Zeonae. He was putzing around in the Pennsylvania gas clouds (go figure) so I told him to sell his dad gum helium and pick up some cheap Hydrocarbons at Philadelphia Station. We then headed for the jump hole to the Texas system. I forgot how beautiful the Pennsylvania system is, though. Big white sun, big blue clouds . . .

But heeeeeewack that dark matter cloud hurt! Who the heck named it the Pequena Negra anyway? What are we, Outcasts? Moving on . . . We didn't run into any Junkers out there. We were heading for one of the intermediate trade lane rings, but as it happened I hacked into the Navy's satellite near the Trade Lane and stole some electromagnetic input readings. Then, just as we tried to enter the lane, a couple little Outcast in Daggers tried to strongarm me out of my Water. I told them they could eat my dust! After we made a quick and easy getaway, Zeonae dropped off his Hydrocarbons on Planet Houston.

We started out for Rochester, our next destination. Passed by the magnificent LNS-D'Ark on the way. Oh, but we didn't arrive there without obnoxious Police in the Jersey Debris Field trying to stop me for my personal Artifacts collection. Well, I don't think they wrote me down.

Next, we headed up to Kusari for a few stops. I let my uncle on New Tokyo watch my artifact collection. Zeonae and I parted ways at Honshu. He was headed back to Manhattan, and I needed a nice hydrogen-infused drink at Gas Miner Ogashawa in Sigma-19. Where do I plan to go next? Oh, I think that one will be a surprise . . . *laughs* . . .

Today, I decided I would explore some of the hostile Omicron systems! I stocked my ship full of ordnance and headed for Omicron Alpha. Once again, the gas clouds in Sigma-19 are always a pleasure - though it always feels like Beta is puking on me.

Anyway, I'm sure that's not very interesting. I got to Omicron Alpha and then headed for the burial grounds. Tons of wrecked sabres everywhere meant I was in the right place. But then I encountered a strange jump hole that happened to be lined up at that very moment . . . I figured, what the heck, I took it.

I ended up in a really odd pink system surrounded by aliens shooting at me. So I got to a safe place for rational thinking and then I figured I'd take a sample. It wasn't long before a patrolling mindnode attacked me. Luckily, all of these mines came in handy - the biggest challenge was disabling its Veil! My hull started cracking a little bit just as I delivered the final energy torpedo to take that thing down . . . I tractored in the remains and got away as fast as I could! Not even their battleships could stop me!

But you know me . . . I didn't go back to Alpha. I decided to keep pushing and ended up taking a bit of a rocky road through Omicron Iota. That way, no Outcasts or Order would try to take my newly acquired sample from me. I mean, cause it was so much safer . . .

Well, I ended up getting through that hellhole alive, but I didn't have the sense to take any damn pictures. After surveying the Zoner satellite in Omicron Delta, I landed on Freeport-11 for a nice long rest.

All that remains now is to get back to Liberty and see who wants to acquire these remains.
