Help! Keep getting disconnected! - ShowdownArmada - 02-19-2008
Howdi, y'all!
I'm new here, but I'm having some trouble playing.
Here's what I did:
1. Fresh install of Freelancer -> D:\Freelancer
2. Installed FLMM - D:\Freelancer Mod Manager
3. Downloaded Discovery mod to desktop and double clicked it to install
3.5 Removed McAfee Firewall and products and disabled windows security.
4. Run FLMM to activate the mod, no problemo
5. Started FL created an ID and went to the serverlist. Couldn't connect to global server and couldnt find the RP server. So I sniffed around and found that I had to put "-s82.113.48.5:2302" behind folder location @ target properties of the shortcut.
6. Ran FL again connected to the server! YEAH!
7. I undock and I get immediate red lag and I get disconnected.
8. Created a new char, sold equipment, bought new ship etc etc. undocked and I still get disconnected!
What is my problem? Can anyone help? I did the above multiple times.
Oh and I'm running Vista Home Premium 64bit
