If it went boom, doesn't mean there's nothing there! Remember omega 41 - only asteroids, but a lot of jumpholes. Remember omega 7 - a huge nebulae and some asteroids too, but so many recourses. Nothing else comes to mind at the moment, but I'm sure there are other sunless and planet less systems with something valuable in them!

No. According to Igiss cannon, Sol is gone. No "Solarian" would survive, Daam'k'vosh is gone by original canon, and Nomads are all one the same things, so no separatists...
