hmm - my FL offers me resolutions up to 1900 , maybe its your drivers that limit it? - cause i play in 1600x1200 without meddling with any ini.

i have the same question. My graphic card has max resolution 2560 x 1600 and i have widescreend monitor with resolution 1680x1050. but in game i have max resolution 1280x1024. how can i make it bigger?

@looqas: Screen resolution if I remember correctly is restricted by your screen, not the game itself. (I may be wrong). Example, my screen settings can only go up to 1024x768, can't seem to change it.
@Global: Freelancer isn't supposed with Widescreens is it? I think you have to make a couple of changes in your files in order for it to work.

i can switch on my monitor resolution from widescreen to normal(but then i have on left and right side of monitor black places. but that is not problem, i see here somewhere screen from gamme,that was in bigger resolution as i can set in game.

If you change the command lines to widescreen (in my case 1440x900), then the HUD goes off the screen and it is near impossible to fly unless you know all the hotkeys.

I usually play Disco on my 1024x768 screen... I rarely use my 1680x1050 for FL.

Mine runs at 1280x1024, I wish it would go to 1600x1200. Any assistance with that would be nice.
