A new research faction is coming, and we have several projects for ships, different ships, not just the looks, but in the use, and is something we dont have in game yet.
And so, i'm looking for a ship designer, someone that would like to join our research team and help us with our ships projects. We know what we want, we just need u to design it.

We have serious projects, for several ships, with diverse uses, that we hope one day can be in-game.

Its probably a bad idea to get ahead of yourselves, only a very flew(at elitist PVP) factions get their own shipline, so don't count on them being integrated into disco..probably ever.
And even so, you don't even have any guidelines on what you would want or anything. No info at all :\

We are working on several projects, as research company, and many are for new types of ships. And no, we are not a PvP faction.
But dont ask me for details in open chat, those are classified. We know what we want, we are just looking for someone that can design the ships game-quality, someone that knows how to use those 3d design software better then us.
But we also need to be sure that person is serious, and that will respect and keep the company secrets, untill the day we are ready to make them public.

The point of this thread is still the same, i'm looking for a ship designer, game-quality.
As i said before, we have projects for several ships, with different uses, that we still dont have in-game. But we need someone to join us and help us with those projects, and that is the designer.

the problem is that your ships will have chance to get in game in <2014 year, surely if they will pass submission to discovery 4.87 (it took two years (right?) to develop discovery 4.86, which will be deployed soon).
so you guys have enough time to play without your own ships, and to find a good modeller...
id like to help, but I dont have enough time to spend modelling or playing, and my sketchup models probably would not get accepted.

I dont know why your models wouldnt get accepted. We are prepared to help the designer by giving hints and ideas about what we have in mind.
Since most the ships we projected have diferent uses, there are some parts of the looks that "must" be in the design, but the rest, will be the designer work and imagination.
Also, we dont mind how long it may take, we believe in our project, and we believe that our ships will be useful.
And not all will be exclusive for our faction. Most we plan to "put in the market", since thier utility will be Sirius wide.
