Question about profitability of war - albert6014 - 09-03-2011

Howdy there, fellow discoverers(and other weird creatures). Well I have a stupid question(or not).
With all this war drama between Houses and stuff, what actual profit(as in game, not as in roleplaying) a House gets when it occupies some station, system or planet? Bigger tax(who knows to whom), better prices or smthng else?

players - the very essence of multiplayer games. everyone suddenly jumps on the winner bandwagon and the faction gets more people. the opposing faction gets people as well, since they like to fight a lot. and with a lot of targets, comes lot of pvp.

just one side of it.

It is activity as Martin pointed and the RP in general, blockade runners, restrictions diplomacy towards possible ally and enemies, mercs, tech exchanges, undercover ugly agreements, different tactics that could not be used in peaceful time, fines for enemy traders/affiliated cargo-money for police/navy, PvP
A lot of stuff altogether-raeg too sadly, it makes the server more dynamic and less dull for the static environment.
so moar Krieg!.:yahoo:

Actualy there is no profit as there is no taxation part in the Game. The only advantage would be new trade possibilities with the new stations attract more players. But this might also attract more Pirates, so it can turn out as a twisted thing. To the contrary even with more sectors a house has to guard more space thus is potentialy weakened.
