Does anyone know of any good online Roleplaying servers? Discovery is getting stale, and I'm looking to branch out to other Roleplaying game servers. I don't know any. Preferably free though. Danke in advance

I'm pretty sure jedi knight academy had good RP back when i used to play it.
but the battle system is kinda hard to get the hang of.

Now I am about to say Garry's Mod. But dont shoot me just yet.
Avoid DarkRP like the plague.
What you are looking for is a particular HL2 RP that is legitimate Serious RP. I played a while back and had an awesome time. I enlisted CPF and went on patrols, took orders, responded to emergency calls. It was amazing.
However the servers got hit hard by hacker attacks after I had been there for only about a month and the entire progect went down. I dare say they have gotten it back together but I have not looked.
Look for the group Slidefuse to find it. The lead admin/modder/developer's name was Spencer and he is awesome as well. Still a student and put together a huge total conversion for GMod with a following that rivaled Discovery. Workign mostly on his own. He is a boy prodegy as far as coding and the like.
Anyway, look em up.

As someone who's been playing JKA like mad for the past 5+ years or so, yeah, Jedi Academy still has a number of decent RP servers if you're into SW RP. ::JEDI:: Comes to mind. Be warned there's a ton of lousy RP servers though, and SW RP in general isn't that awesome. D:

Try a MUD, I used to play alot on the wheel of time MUD and the RP was great fun as long as you can get past the lack of graphics.
Also, if servers are still around then neverwinter nights was supposed to be good.
