What does it mean ? - Rhonkar - 10-12-2011 Sometimes, I can read "Date - Hour - Someone is attempting to engage cloaking device". Then, it appears that this player has some difficulties to disconnect itself. Any suggestions ? Thanks! What does it mean ? - Daedric - 10-12-2011 That message means they've used F1 to disconnect from the server. The message is displayed to inform players in the vicinity so that they can take a screen if the player in question was involved in any interaction; as it is against the rules to disconnect during player interaction. Then, it appears that this player has some difficulties to disconnect itself. Any suggestions ? Thanks! It means that the player got out of the game via F1 and then exit game or the connection was interupted or the data packages weren't received for some reason and took too much time to response to the server. So short: The player left the game. Edit: Got ninja'ed Q_Q What does it mean ? - CzeReptile - 10-12-2011 But it does nto necessarily mean INTENTIONAL disconnection that should be immidiately Q_Q reported. There is also topic where people who are aware of forums can post their "Im sorry" should this happen to avoid being sanctioned by sanction-happy people. What does it mean ? - Rhonkar - 10-12-2011 First, thanks for the quick replies. So, it is more a network issue than something the admins have made specifically against intentional disconnections ? The bad thing is there's no way to know for sure if the disconnect was intentional or not What does it mean ? - Lennox - 10-12-2011 Just make sure you set up a message here if anybody should have seen you if you got disconnected. You are staying at the right side if you post there and with that you maybe can prevent a possible sanction. But if you manually disconnect and re-enter the game again you are dead inRP if there was a battle for example. Do not use it for oyur own advantage, to escape piracy for example, too. What does it mean ? - Rhonkar - 10-12-2011 Understood, things are clear now:) What does it mean ? - Rhonkar - 10-12-2011 Quote:Just make sure you set up a message here if anybody should have seen you if you got disconnected.
