PicLens - ioha - 03-10-2008 A good friend recommended me this nice plugin for Firefox: PicLens. As soon as you are browsing a site full of pictures, you can launch PicLens and it'll take you to a fullscreen wall with every picture on it, a tad similar to the iTunes browsing function. Actually, I can't explain it that well, but the tutorial on the site does. I often browse pictures on deviantArt, google, and the like, so I thought some of you might be interested in it as well. Enjoy:) PicLens - Boss - 03-10-2008 Grabbed it, can't launch it. Must be missing a button or something. (me finding it, that is...) PicLens - ioha - 03-10-2008 Umm, did you watch the tutorial? The button to launch it is in the upper right cornor of your Firefox window, but you can launch it by clicking the "play" button on any image as well. Oh, maybe I should add: it does not work with any site. Supported sites are google, Yahoo!, Flickr, photobucket, deviantArt and some more. Not any site on the web. PicLens - Boss - 03-10-2008 Never saw a tutorial... PicLens - Dopamino - 03-10-2008 I like their other Firefox extension, "CoolIris" much better. PicLens - ioha - 03-10-2008 ' Wrote:Never saw a tutorial...Directly under the "Download" button... @Dopa: Yeah, PicLens isn't as useful as CoolIris, but it sure works well for presentations and the occasional browsing. |
