Read a lot about folks getting their games from the store already on Bethesda forums, and console players already playing.
It sorta' sucks being a PC player at times, especially since we'll have to wait for Steam to unlock it for us, I hope it's going to be unlocked earlier than the 11th, as I'll get my copy tomorrow or the 10th.

Bethseda have poured a ridiculous amount of cash into advertising and promoting the 11/11/11 release date. I seriously doubt they're going to be selling games earlier than that.

Just read into it. A gamestop in the Netherlands is already selling their stocked copies of Skyrim. And I doubt this is the only one doing it.
