Liberty Rogues - Niezck - 03-13-2008 ![]() History ”From a motley assortment of Liberty criminals, the Liberty Rogues have evolved into a highly organized and powerful pirate faction operating in Liberty Space and surrounding Independent Worlds. The Rogues are the key allies of the Outcasts in this region and maintain close ties with Molly's of Dublin and Newcastle. The Liberty Rogues are currently led by Valdar , A former LSF member, who sickened of the corruption within Liberty’s government chose to join the Rogues, his continued service and numerous spectacular raids on New York have awarded him the highest rank a Rogue can get, that of Crime Boss. The Liberty Rogues see the Cardamine trade as a very lucrative resource, allowing them interactions with the powerful Outcasts, as well as allies in places they would not normally be able to influence. As a result of this alliance with the Outcasts the Liberty Rogues have agreed to attack whatever Corsair influence may be seen in Liberty, with the exception of the Junkers. Recently the Rogues have had a new group join consisting of disaffected civilians and minor criminals, these members calling themselves the Democratic Peoples of Liberty, are led by supposed dead, former trader Simon Reynolds a charismatic sociopath, hell bent on the destruction of Liberty’s current governmental system. The DPL state the similar goals to the LR as well as the restoration of “Democracy” to Liberty. In reality this makes them only a little bit better than your standard Rogue. Day to Day Operations The day to day operations of both the LR and the DPL vary little from each other, both resort to piracy and attacks on lone government vessels. The LR’s primary motivation however is to continue the Cardamine trade into Liberty and ensuring that this supply line remains open. The DPL are actively seeking the down fall of Liberty’s governmental system and promote propaganda and guerrilla warfare to achieve their aims. What do we offer? [color=orange]-5m Starting Bonus (Once you achieve Rogue rank) -Access to our well-stocked armory -Help with the initial ship, tag and ID gathering. -A welcoming and friendly faction. -Every new recruit is put in a Bloodhound Light Fighter for 10 hours. What to do when you create your character? You will begin your training process which will result in you being of Rogue rank and being experienced in playing on the Discovery Server. You must achieve this all yourself. You will steal a ship from the Manhattan docks, buy all the equipment you will need and launch from Manhattan. You shall then be allowed to dock on Detroit Munitions with the help of our Hacker allies. Here you will buy Stunpulse guns to aid your mission. Afterwards you will gain neutral reputation toward the Rogues and go to Buffalo Base. This can be achieved by either destroying Police or DSE depots, killing Xenos or killing lawfuls. Once at Buffalo you will meet another ship in space, LR-Bank, and will gain 35,000 Sirius Credits to purchase a Bloodhound Light Fighter. If you are part of the DPL you shall go to Padua Base in Galileo and begin your missions there. If you are part of the LR you shall go to Alcatraz Depot and do the same. Once you have achieved full reputation and a Rogue tag you will return to Buffalo to buy a Rogue ID. You shall then begin your day-to-day activities for 10 hours. Once this is complete you shall screenshot it and send it to either myself or Del who will then promote you. Once you're promoted, you will have to buy a Hyena Light Fighter on Alcatraz. After purchasing this along with necessary guns and equipment, you will once again begin day-to-day activities for 20 hours. After this time you must send a screenshot to myself or Del to be promoted and given your 10m bonus and choice of ship. And you might want to allow Wolfhound also. Like, 1 week Bloodhound, 1 week Wolfhound. That would be awesome! Liberty Rogues - Othman - 03-13-2008 Good but why use the gaian weapons? As they are already in your unfriendly list and would you need them at all? Liberty Rogues - Niezck - 03-13-2008 ' Wrote:Insert a Greyhound in your list. And you might want to allow Wolfhound also. Knew i forgot SOMETHING:P They're added now:) It's staying as 2 weeks for Bloodhound though, we need to know they can handle themselves and RP well. What better way than in a MK1 LF? ~Niezck EDIT: Can somebody confirm the class of the Greyhound? Never flown one personally and have no idea. Liberty Rogues - Unseelie - 03-14-2008 Looks nice, has my approval. Are there any naming conventions beside the LR/DPL thing? Also, are you counting GB in that list of caps you wont use? Liberty Rogues - chopper - 03-14-2008 Trust me, Bloodhound is much better then the Wolfhound. At least you can dodge.. You can't in a Wolfhound! And it's a perfect RP ship! It was just a thought, people might get bored for 2 weeks in a Bloodhound:) Liberty Rogues - mjolnir - 03-14-2008 I would actually say no Sabres add Greyhounds instead... EDIT: it's officially a HF.. but has 4 lvl 10 slots (so nice for codes... but you didn't allow them on fighters(, uses lvl 10 shield.. has 9800 armor.. and has the second best powersupply (Wrath/RT one). 12400 capacity, 1240 recharge. Falcatas yes.. since Barghest is kind of hopeless right now. and btw. Slipstream is not borderworlds. Liberty Rogues - Niezck - 03-14-2008 ' Wrote:Looks nice, has my approval. Gunboats will be comissioned on very rare occasions. Everybody will maintain fighters and use fighters the majority of the time. As for naming conventions, right now there is only the -F for the Graviton and Attitude.Adjuster so show they are the respective Flagships. Nothing else for now. ~Niezck Liberty Rogues - Dusty Lens - 03-14-2008 *deep inhale* I've kept outa the other threads, but I must say that it's a pleasure to stop by and smell a grand post. |
