For the past 4 years I have had a Logitech UltraSlim old edition keyboard - that's right - the one with the pimped out metal multimedia keys. It has endured 4 years of extreme usage (more than any other keyboard I had) and I think the time is coming when it is finally starting to fall apart. I'll skip the part where I detail all of it's injuries, but bottom line is: I need a new keyboard.

I did consult google and here is what I came up with. I would say "SOLD!" but the price tag is sort of steep:P

But jokes and novelties aside, I've been looking at a Labtec UltraFlat Keyboard and the Saitek Slimline Aluminum. Then there is also the Logitech UltraSlim of the new edition but that's really a last resort.
These are all "slim" (laptop-like) keyboards btw. I've usually preffered those but I am open to propositions.

FOCUS: What do you guys use or what would you propose for me to use as a new keyboard?

I use a generic Compaq keyboard. Laptop style keys, came with my comp 3 years ago.

Logitech G15. Easy.
Older model, the silver and blue lighted one, I've used both models and it is -far- batter than the newer orange lighted one...

Still have to find one to buy.

The Logitech G15 is great stuff. I also have a Saitek Eclipse II that I enjoy. Both are great for late night gaming.

I'll pipe in with the (if possible older bluelight) G15 crowd, mine's sadly in RMA due to massive abuse, mistreatment and coffee submersion, however that tells you one thing: i want it back, as opposed to just ditching it & getting a new one.

Meanwhile i'm using a very basic Cherry eVolution Stream keyboard - while very simple & generic, it is very responsive, and handles very well (laptop style scissor-switch keys warning, if you don't like them). For multimedia keys it only has louder/softer/shutup back/play|pause/forward, which is really all i need in that department anyhow.

How about Creative Fatal1ty. backlight, all keys are minimum travel, can take quite a beating...
