Can I write up a character bio about a freelancer who was in a faction (e.g. liberty navy) at some point in their history without me having actually been in said player faction?

A character could have been part of the Liberty Navy, without actually beeing in the official [LN] Faction.

Logicaly speaking, what [LN] dispose is absolutely very small portion of actual Navy. Include indies & generic NPC's in background then you have Navy. Through there are exceptions like HF, SCRA etc. you should ask them first.

Their NPC's appear only Omega-52 and they're strong ones. Also they're "owned" by Alvin, current SCRA leader to my knowledge. Last one trying to roleplay a Coalition pilot without his aproval got inrp shot in the head.

ahahah... SCRA really love shoot people... but srsly making RP stories is not going to have problems I suppose. you cant play and claim yourself part of faction, but you can make bios if you like
