This is an official bug report thread where you should post any bugs that you find during beta testing.

Korrd crashed the game, and it was a MAJOR crash... I could *NOT* bring the game back up after this. I had to do a complete player db whipe to get the game to even start. Korrd and I believe it's Marsflyer weapons..
Discovery 4.79 beta bugs - marauder - 03-11-2006
I haven't been able to get onto the beta test server yet (not sure why) so I've been using Ioncross charcter editor and Open SP lite to test stuff.
So far everythings been fine. No crashes or wierd things happening. I do have a couple of things to report though.
1) The improvement to the Blood dragon and Chimaera agilty is noticable.
2) The chimaera is (i think) more agile then the Blood Dragon.

The bugs ive found:
1. Speedmod can be activated with all current versions of discovery. That gives a huge advantage to the one using it. The server should kick the one using it.
2. In newcastle, the server crashes everytime i try to reach the eastern part of the map. Seems to be a patrol-related problem.
3. The Thalon lists 8 weps, but it has only 5.
4. The planet eden name is incorrectly displayed on the map. (it does not appears as eden, but a name i dont remember).
5. When selecting the commodity tab on board of the Augsburg station in Munich, the server crashes.
Those are the ones ve found so far. I'll resume testing after the exam.

When I go into Tohoku, the server crashes.
At the time, I had a Wyrm, two kinds of the Kusari Neutron weapons (Dissintigrators II and III, I think), I think I had a Discovery Scanner, and Heavy Tractor beam, and I don't remember if I had an Armor Upgrade or not (I think not).

Well, Igiss.. this has something to do with marsflyer weapons, so I'm wondering.. did you change how it can be mounted? You said marsflyer has to be re-bought.

It happened to me too. Execpt that I'm not on the server.
1st time when the autopilot took over docking procedures, I tried to dock with the Planetary Arch (tegaki's base).
The 2nd time after I had selected tegaki's base and hit F2.
Both times I had a Blood Dragon VHF with a class 8 gendito, a class 3 windstalker, a class 5 catapult, a class 5 moonstalker and a class 10 sidewinder missile. I've also got a Driller mine, Adv. Countermeasure flares and a Wasp missile with a Deep scanner, Light tractor beam and the Armour upgrade that increase armour by 2.0 ( i can't remember what level it is).
I still can't get onto the Beta server so I'll keep using open SP lite to test the mod.
oh and a quick question:
Are you suppose to be able to pick up loot from NPC's you didn't kill?

if your weapons goods ini still show mars flyer weapons as mars flyer weapons, that's why you're crashing. That is if the mars flyer has been taken out.

It hasn't been removed.. the weapons have been changed tho. I'm pretty sure the weapon itself is doing it
