Whats the RP reason behind the price of the Renzu liner? Its more than a battlship price...

Why exactly do you even care inrp about the "price" of a battleship? It's not like you go and buy one - they're being built using materials and manhours, not money. So the comparsion is a bit weird.

Just compared with other liner class ship. There is the bretonian luxury liner for example for the half price. That takes manhours and materials too, but for the halp price. Just thinking about it, since there arent big differences between them, but the price.

the bret lux liner is a ship build for the bretonian crown with a set design,
that makes it cheaper, the renzu liner exterieur may be the same, but internal its up to the costumer, so if you want marble in your whole ship as flooring then its ofc more ecpensive then the standard,
as the infocard says, build custom for the client,
quality and personification builds cost money.

The Shukensha is made of pure Ivory, Gold and the soft lamentations of Angels.
Beyond that you would be surprised at the amount of sophisticated and expensive technology needed to provide luxury style comfort and amenities 24/7 for each individual taking a ride on that ship. I doubt RM puts in first class comfort for their crew aboard on of their battle turtles.
