Watership Down - Marburg - 01-19-2012 Watership Down - FraserTE - 01-19-2012 You need to be beat with a stick Watership Down - Fletcher - 01-19-2012 I love this piece of animation, never read the book though. I just updated my sig to reflect the darker nature of the literature, but with pure sense that is involved with it. EDIT: @Praedictum: you were beaten as a child weren't you! >insert angry Fletcher< Watership Down - Marburg - 01-19-2012 Watership Down - Fletcher - 01-19-2012 Yup, my sig is now the lesson of El-Ahrairah. Please note, that any resemblances of religion in the animation is pure coincidence, this isn't to avoid law or copyright, its on the wiki page from the author himself. He just 'made up' a Rabbits system of beliefs. Watership Down - Patrician - 01-19-2012 Err, on a SOMEwhat related note, has anyone read Adams' Shardik? Im curious if its as good. Watership Down - Huhuh - 01-19-2012 I think I watched this when I was a kid. Do the rabbits get gassed at one point? Watership Down - Marburg - 01-19-2012 It's subjective, really. Personally, I loved it as well as "The Plague Dogs" ::Edit@ Crack- gassed? no. buried alive? yes:: Watership Down - Fletcher - 01-19-2012 I think the metaphor for "The air turned bad" was suffocation and carbon dioxide poisoning since they were all buried alive. No oxygen does that. Watership Down - Flageolet - 01-19-2012 Our teacher made us watch it in class in 3rd grade. Although sex played an important role in the cartoon movie, I personally thought taht there was not enough sex in it to realistically describe bunny psychology. |
