Assuming the LH are cool with it I'll start texturing an' all. And yes, I know it has a gigantic cockpit for a gunship. Will just have to throw in four pilots or something.

Close the "pods", make them look like engines instead and you a agreat small, agile looking gunship. And since i personally always disliked the LH GS looks i'd fly this with ease. Good job!

They're sensor pods. I guess they could be animated to open and close when in/out of cruise, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort.
Also it's the illegitimate lovechild of a Broadsword and Tridente.

Yeah, wanted to say that. Look-wise. It also got buffed, rebalancing for a new sleek shape would be a pain for those who do it. Thou the model looks cool, and definitely BW-Hackerish. Perhaps one of the gunships could go to the open market... Not that I feel there's a lack of indy pirate gunboats, but Freelance KuEx users always protested for some diversity.

The current Hacker GS looks.. weird. Not very freelancer-y IMO.
This looks much more fitting, though it does look more like a VHF to me. Nice model.

It's up to the devs to decide if it needs to be re-balanced for the new model (assuming it gets accepted). And yes, your idea is good, maybe the current gunship can keep its model and become Borderworlds tech, like the Hacker line.
About the model itself, you know I like it. I'm not fond of the pods though, maybe you can twiddle with them a bit.

actually that looks like a Agama/broadsword/claymore mix... i think it fits perfectly as a possible replacement.
