So it's recently come to my attention that the only place one can buy the KPT ID is in the KSP's guard system. Sense, makes none.

So at first I asked myself, "Why the hell isn't it sold on Kansai"? But then I got a better idea.

Firstly the KSP Guard system's location doesn't really make very much sense at all. It's off to the left of Shikoku, the hole between three clouds which lore states are full of outlaws of various sorts. Seems a little dangerous for a police force.

By comparison, the right side of Shikoku seems perfect. Put the hole to the right of planet Seto or something, and move the system to the slot right of Shikoku.

But (wait) you might be thinking, Hiroshima is there! Well, just move that right a slot as well.

Then what you do is, throw a KPT guard system where the KSP one used to be, to the left of Shikoku. I was thinking attach it to Kyushu as well, with the hole there somewhere around Nansai research station. Everybody wins.

So uh, yep. How's that sound?

Map for reference. Look at the slots left and right of Shikoku.

Better idea.

Just throw a random KPT BS for that in NT. Saves the trouble of systems.

That's a lame fix and moving the systems/holes only takes five minutes tops, with a single KPT base in the new system being the same amount of work.

Doesnt have to be NT.

And it cuts down on useless, wholey unused systems.

I like the idea proposed in the OP.

The location of Fukuoka on the map is fine. The entrance could be moved, I guess. Would be nice to not have to cruise ~60K every time I set up a new KSP ship. And yeah, them clouds nearby be full o' danger.

What we really really don't need is another guard system. For anyone. Ever.

I suggest throwing the Kempeitai ID on another base somewhere if you don't like using Fukuoka.

I personally think that Tekagi's base should be the Kempeitai station. (Though I'd also like if Fukuoka and/or Hiroshima was also combined - but that's another story) It doesn't make sense that they'd let such a place stay under hostile control, and intel people make sense for wanting it.

I like that idea Ktayn but you and I both know that's not going to happen.

I can always hope! Optimism doesn't seem to work out so well though in Discoland, haha.

While I personally have veeeery little experience with Kusari, the idea from the OP seems like it's pretty thoroughly thought out.

And it sounds like it would work. But again, I have no experience in Kusari so my opinion probably isn't the best one in the situation XD
