I don't know if it's just me, probably isn't since I've been asking around. But ever since the player limit was increased to 225, the server hasn't been stable when it filled up, and it simply crashes in large fleet fights.

I think it should be decreased down to 200 again.

Considering that on weekend-evening it's quasi impossible to log on due to the server being full even with the increased limit, reducing it again would just make it even more difficult at more times.

It's a beta. Let the devs/admins work on it until the final release.

Voted yes.
As long as there is no stable way to run the server on that capacity, and -IF- this is indeed causing the lags and crashes [capfights on full server] - limit should be decreased to prevent that at least temporarily, before a solution is found.

Of course, the server's instability could be due to the mod still being a beta.

But either way..pretty sure it was more stable in 200 .86
