GALLIC GRAND PRIX - arvg - 02-09-2012
ANNOUNCEMENT
The Premier Challenge of the 1st annual Gallic Grand Prix.

The Race will be held Rally Style, open to all LIGHT FIGHTER classes.
Each contestant will set off from the Monte Carlo Freeport in Provence, activating a guncam time stamp for the start of the race with the station at exactly 1k distance.
The pilot will then fly directly towards Cannes Resort Station, where, at a distance of 1k another guncam picture will be taken documenting the time achieved.
Flying on, the pilot will reach the Luxury Liner Antibes, repeating the same procedure.
The finish line is back at Monte Carlo Freeport.
There is no set start time, begin the Rally as soon as you are able.
Where the pilot shall upload his/her times directly to my INBOX, where the adjudicators of the race shall determine and publish all the times on the 18th of February.
This is the first of SEVEN Grand Prix races and is open to all participants from across Sirius. Special dispensation for registered pilots to bring their Light Fighter to the Race Grounds, will be granted. And gauantees of safety while present will be permitted.
The prize for this, the first of SEVEN races shall be 300 million Credits, as well as bragging rights.
THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE. Simply register below with your name, ship class, and Factional alignment.

Gentlemen, I was under the impression that my assistant had filed all the paperwork. I guess he forgot about it...
Now then, we do require some security for the event in question, and for the executives and notable VIPs that will be staying aboard the various establishments in Provence during the race to watch the competition.
Perhaps if you billed us for your time, effort and energy, we can see about ensuring that fiscal lubrication is applied to ensure all engines are running.
I look forward to speaking to you further and clarifying any legal licenses.
