bretonia-outcast diplomacy - Ursus - 02-11-2012
Can I get an official statement of the current relationship between Bretonia and the Outcasts? Some of the OC seem to think they are nuetral and allowed to be in house space, but the NPC spawn are aggressive against each other and Bretonia police and navy missions are still being given out against them, which tells me the game still sees them as hostile. There is no blanket bounty against them, although the last time I asked about that point with the Gaians it was shown not to be evidentiary. Only evidence of neutrality I can find is the guard ID has no rep-hack, but that is probably leftover from .85 war against Kusari. I haven't seen anything official looking that would over-ride the in-game lore, so ... what's the status?

Check the outcast ID. They can ally with Bretonian lawfuls if a common enemy is around. So no outright hostility. However, police never sits by if you screw with the law. well, apart from that fat LPI guy with his bag of donuts over there.

My idea of outcasts in bretonia goes like: You play nice, we don't mind, start causin' troubles, you're just another pirate to get rid of.

Xenos can ally with Liberty Navy against invaders too, but they are still aggro towards each other and engage at any time. That is how I would expect this relationship to be as well. Just because the Outcast are hostile to Gallia doesn't mean anything, they are hostile to all of the houses and should be treated accordingly, as I see it.

As long Outcasts helping BAF agaist common enemy- they will accpet their presence.
Neutrality- make 5-10 missions in Eta against corsairs. Rep problem solved.
