Missions vs. Nomads - NonSequitor - 02-13-2012 I humbly request the Devs to implement missions vs. the Nomads. Missions would be available from Dabadoru, FP 11, Yaren and all of the Order bases. If missions vs. the Nomads are unviable, I'd like to see some reasonble, thoughtful counterarguments. Missions vs. Nomads - Soul Reaper - 02-13-2012 Err, I remember this discussion coming up several times. I -think- it's going to be implemented..not sure though. Yet I don't see a reason why not. Missions vs. Nomads - Knjaz - 02-13-2012 Gief is missions vs capitals in Edinburg/Dundee first, plz. GRN needs more indies on its side. Missions vs. Nomads - Adam_Spire - 02-13-2012 With Nomad ship parts, from blown up NPCs, having the highest resale value in the game that I know of, I wonder if they are worried there will be a mad rush to take nomad missions and pirates that will blow up any trade ship/player that stocks up on nomad parts. This would result in more Q_Qing or a nerf on the value of the nomad parts. Missions vs. Nomads - Lonely_Ghost - 02-13-2012 Its posible to note exact parts of destroyed ships on mission, which could be looted? If yes, then no problem to make missions against nomads. If no.... sad enough. Missions vs. Nomads - Schattenreich - 02-13-2012 ' Wrote:I humbly request the Devs to implement missions vs. the Nomads. Missions would be available from Dabadoru, FP 11, Yaren and all of the Order bases. I think pretty much the only counterargument is that devs thought it would be a better idea to spend their time on gallia. And that the devs and admins who are in the keepers know that Order are all nubbs and dont need other missions than human-killing missions which will make them hostile to 70% of sirius. Missions vs. Nomads - NonSequitor - 02-13-2012 Ok, if we're all worried about the unwashed masses of "lolwuts" (imo the most vapid term used on these forums) farming Nomads in order to sell their remains, there's a simple answer to the that: reduce the value of Nomad remains to the point that the temptation to farm them is decreased. Some of my counterarguments: Repping Zoner could be done in a more RP fashion if you could do missions for them, i.e. hunt Nomads. Repping Order could be a balance of hunting humans and Nomads, with an emphasis on hunting Nomads. Which come to think of it is congruent with Order RP. The Core could take missions against Nomads in order to acquire data and technology from the Nomads, which is what the Core does in RP. Missions vs. Nomads - Eduard - 02-13-2012 I personally vote for mission where you need to hunt nomads It's kinda annoying as an Order to take missions in Alaska(where at the moment is the only place where you can take missions from the Order sadly) where you are pointed to kill Liberty. In RP it's very annoying as the Order is fighting against the nomads, and they got more like a defensive stance against the unfriendly human affiliations/factions. Hurting humankind is clearly not the aim of the Order in RP if I am right Missions vs. Nomads - Narcotic - 02-13-2012 Sounds nice. But I guess, there's more important stuff to do first. (Like the final release?!) Missions vs. Nomads - kikatsu - 02-13-2012 What about the missions on Yanagi in Sigma 13? Last time I checked, if you take a mission there that does not specify who the target faction you are going after is it sends you against Das Wilde NPCs |
