Señores y Señoras, Hermanos y Hermanas.
Corsairs!

Grand Elder Sephardi has bestowed the great honor of Eldership upon me,
and has put me in command of the honorable Corsair Brotherhood....

Though I am but a man from planet Crete,
since a very young age, I have dedicated my life to serve the Corsair people.
I have seen victory and loss, hunger and bliss.
I have seen our people grow strong.

Like a bull in the arena, we once were tormented and shattered.
But the tides have turned and we, the Corsair people, became the proud Matador we are today.

Both Rheinland and Bretonia see their might crumble under our relentless attacks.
No more do we rely on the Zoner gringo for basic survival.
No more are we under a constant attack from the so called ''Outcast'' fratricides.

I have seen the proud hermanos del Black Sails bring us glory and loot for all Corsairs to share.
I have seen the smart and brave Benitez familia use force as well as their wits in service of our people.
And last but not least I would like to salute the countless men and women of the smaller familias,
for they invest their every last peso in the cause to serve our nation.
Saludos to these good men and women for without them, we would not be where we are today.

Still, I hear our people call for help.

Food prices are high.
The misguided Hessians and bounty hunters continue to plague our territory.
Mercenaries and other fools continue their suicide attacks upon our great forces.
Our artifact economy is suffering under their countless assaults.
The voice of the working class Corsair is not being heard by the Council of Elders.
The voice of the warrior and the business man is being ignored in just the same way.

I promise our people increased food production in our massive biodomes at Barcelona station and others alike,
and that the donated funds deposited to my Gran Canarian Bank account (Ladrona[TBH])
will be used for the good of all Corsairs, and not only spent on villas, cigars and other luxury items!

I promise the merchants safe flights and calm space for them to conduct their business!
I promise a future for every Corsair child!
I promise that we shall take care of our elderly people, who have had led a life of hardship!
I promise you all that I have not slept with that woman, and that all of the rellics that decorate my home are gifts from allies!

And finally, I promise that our forces shall strike down the enemy with the grace that only a Corsair soul possesses!
