Yes, there's a special OpenSP for Discovery 4.78. Just search for 'discovery'.

I have the OpenSP Mod, but I dont want to have to go through all the systems to get a full map, is there a save file I can download from anywhere?

Someone made a "Freelancer Character Editor" just change that settings in that to get the ship, weapons, and map that you want.
Its quite simple to use... Just make sure to have a save file YOU named. ;)
