Health Project- General Drugs Topic Report
There are many, many types and makes of drugs, and they have many uses. Most drugs are used for medical purposes, which is one of the many good reasons. However, people mis-use the items on themselves for 'the fun of it' and anti-depression. All medicines are drugs, but not all drugs are medicines.
Effects of overuse/abuse of drugs
One of the many changes (depending on which day is consumed) behaviour change. People would start acting more:
'¢ Enraged mood
'¢ Their personality changes a great deal
'¢ Less concentration
'¢ Could act/pose as a threat
'¢ Seeing things that do not exist. Hallucinating,
'¢ Less responsive
'¢ More aggressive and less friendly
'¢ More 'daring' mood
'¢ Higher hyperactivity
Some other effects that are commonly known are:
'¢ Hallucinations
'¢ Altered perception of time and distance
'¢ 'intense trips'
'¢ Breathing rate decreases
'¢ Body temperature increases
'¢ Coma's
'¢ Clammy skin
'¢ In worst cases, death.
