Ramming someone (<lvl 29) in front of a gate - Dantrithor - 04-09-2008

I was going through the trade lane Planet Fuji- New tokio, when right after begin the slow down i see a ship parked right in front of the exit trade lane. I tried to press esc to exit the trade lane but had no time, i rammed the ship with my luxury liner. I was in cockpit view, and .. saw it for an instant. It was a starflier, player name "Octan". He didnt seem to be moving, just stopped like if he had exited the trade lane and was checking something else without having moved from the place you're left.

I tried to PM him to offer him a compensation, but he just left (after respawning in New Tokio).

Err.. well, i killed someone under level 30, which is punishable, but as he was standing right in a trade lane exit and i had no chance of moving, i am not sure.

oh, well, i guess i just feel guilty..

PD: If whoever i rammed reads this, PM me ingame/here to arrange some compensation for problems caused.

Accident, forget it. They shouldn't park infront of an exit. You didn't fire a shot and didn't intentionally ram him/her, so no foul.

Now.. this is why the LPI gives parking tickets for parking in such places.

Yeppers. You'd be surprised how many people actually listen to LPI flying around in Patriots. We can, after all, ram you into a planet if necessary. Towing service ftw!

At least, this teaches a lesson to everyone. 1st, i will continue giving warnings about my aproach when getting into "crowded" areas (like i use to do, but sometimes forget). 2nd: Yes, crashes happen, and can kill you >.<

It is the second time i have such an incident, but first one at least the guy survived. I had given warning that time though.

Last time that happened to another person while I was on my LPI, I tried RPing the accident, and calling for rescue ships to be sent.

I hate being killed by capship patrols in a starflier. Just flying happily... then a big boom, and you're dead. You look up and there's just a battleship sitting where you ship used to be. Depressing.

Perhaps then if you agreed to pay more taxes, we could upgrade our traffic lights and control traffic a little bit better... =p

Oh, my face hurts... you have wrentched my stomach into a twisted form of a ball of pain! I can just visualise the lil guy sitting, checking something on his console then BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Honestly though, there is no way that counts as a "kill" of a lower level. Thats just bad luck on his side!

And yes FTW means for the win:D
