BattleStar - Missingno. - 03-25-2006

May i ask why it is so easy for the battle star to be flipped over when anotehr ship flies into it? I never had such a problem with my huegenot. Of course, it could get twisted a bit but never a full over turn where its on its back.

Well, problem is that Battlestar is thin and long. If I make it harder to turn, you'll have too much trouble handling it in general, so my advice is to avoid collisions. No other way, really. It's many times bigger than Huegenot, like you should've noticed.

on the battle stars i have noticed unless u have ur graphics settings to almost max or at max u cant see the things....

i think there might be a prb in the viewable distance settings.

coz yeh when u drop the raphics settings in the game they dissaper and only the guns and light on the things can be seen

its good for those of us ho have them :) hard to hit something u cant see
but it aint really all that fair to people who dont have the best graphics card and have to run at lower settings.

As a matter of fact, freelancer does not need a powerful graphics card. I started playing freelancer with a 32MB TNT2 and i was able to play at max settings at a screen res of 800x600x16 without lag (Exept when i was entering a JH, then it lagged a bit).

I was thinking on getting a texture pack for FL with high res textures. I allways thought that vanilla FL textures are too low res...

P.D: Xerxas, would you mind writing properly? reading your posts hurts my eyes...

That reminds me... this will have no trouble running on full graphics settings. I should turn them up to full lol
