I don't know if this is the right section to write this but...
Don't you guys think there should be more bots in the game?
Even if the server is almost full most of the systems are empty.
If there were more bots i think it would be some kind of "warmer" in the sirius sector and people would feel better.
Please tell me what you think about if.

In my opinion it depends , in home systems yes,
in systems that are meant to be desolate , no.
I've heard the dev's are tweaking the NPC's for the next update already,
so lets see

The current NPCs are quite bland, but they do RP better than some players.
Note that when server population is higher, the number of NPC spawns are lowered to decrease server load.

When I read the title, I first thought "Nanobots?".
However, in my opinion there already are far enough NPCs.
The number of bots depend on the amount of players online, too.
When >100 players online there are nearly too many NPCs for my taste.
But it's okay as it is.

It's frustrating to play when the server pop is under 100 because there are so many of them.

Frustration comes from the way they interact with the universe, jamming up the gates and lanes, and shooting the tradelane rings. They make you wait, or they bump into you and make you spend time getting your ship back on course so you can wait for the next batch to jam you again.
They are also completely predictable in their spawn patterns, popping out when you enter and exit a lane, or undock from a base.
I like having them around as atmosphere, I just wish they wouldn't interact with stuff.
